RESOLUTIONS

Resolutions are a powerful way for Community Education Councils (CECs) to advocate for their communities. Written by Councilmembers, these resolutions—if passed—are submitted to New York City Public Schools (NYPS) as the official stance of the CEC. Many policies and initiatives implemented by NYPS originate from CEC resolutions.
